A couple of weeks ago I attended Cisco Live Berlin together with our fantastic Tufin team. The conference was excellent and very well organized, offering the 12,000 attendees a large variety of activities and learning opportunities. The focus this year was digital business in the new Era of IT. Cisco presented innovations for the enterprise network, collaboration, security, SDN and cloud solutions representing the vision of a connected world. Between innovation talks, breakout sessions, seminars, and meetings, it was difficult to find the time to visit the DevNet zone, dCloud area, Cisco Lounges and the different exhibitors at the World of Solutions.

For us, this was a great opportunity to meet with our Cisco regional customers from European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and to network with thought leaders who visited our booth. We conducted a short survey to learn more about the main challenges of conference attendees. Our survey results were not surprising: most respondents were knee deep in migration to private/public cloud platform and encountered challenges of complex network infrastructure. Even those who have standardized on Cisco platforms were trying to control network security across multiple management systems from different vendors, including cloud (like AWS or Microsoft Azure).

Regardless of languages and industries visitors came to our booth to discuss the different vendors and platforms they have in their network and learn about how Tufin can help orchestrate network security policies across heterogeneous IT environments.
