McAfee Welcomes Tufin to its Security Innovation Alliance (SIA) Partner Program promoting Security Policy Orchestration to its customer base

McAfee Focus 14 Security Conference– Booth #SIA-A-Tufin®, the leader in Security Policy Orchestration, today announced a business partnership with McAfee to help enterprises automate their network security policies and ensure availability and integrity of critical applications. Triggered by strong demand for McAfee® Next Generation Firewall and the growing need for policy-driven network automation, the companies initiated an integration project, which has now evolved into a business collaboration making Tufin available to McAfee’s customer base through the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance (SIA) program.

“Tufin has been working jointly with Swisscom and McAfee to build a robust solution that answers some of our most critical business needs around the automation of network changes,” said Marion Mattes, Head of Data Center, Mainframe & Connectivity Services at Swisscom. “Woven into our data center architecture, the integrated solution enables customers to respond to change requests with greater efficiency and agility while at the same time ensuring granular, business-relevant security policies.”

Enterprise IT and security experts are under increasing pressure to respond to complex network changes and keep up with growing business demands.  Together, the Tufin Orchestration Suite™ and McAfee’s Next Generation Firewall provide advanced network protection and visibility within the corporate network, enabling agile and automated security policy modifications. Using advanced network analytics and automation technologies, Tufin can reduce the time it takes large enterprises to implement complex changes on McAfee Next Generation Firewall appliance from a week to a single day.

“Today’s enterprises face an IT infrastructure with various security products that individually cannot keep up with the threat landscape, often lacking a centralized resource to help manage operational challenges,’” said Ed Barry, vice president of Global Technology Alliances at McAfee, part of Intel Security.  “Tufin is an important partner in our ecosystem as they enable automated compliance and risk analysis for network changes.”

The McAfee Security Innovation Alliance (SIA) is a technology partnering program created to help accelerate the development of interoperable security products and to simplify the integration of these products within complex customer environments. Working together, McAfee and partners such as Tufin can deliver comprehensive solutions to address many network devices used by enterprises. By integrating with McAfee’s industry-leading open architecture, SIA partners can reach more than 35,000 organizations that have already invested in McAfee’s Security and Risk Management (SRM) solutions.
