New R15-4 release takes cross-platform network visibility and connectivity to the next level with monitoring and topology analysis for AWS resources

Tufin®, the market-leading provider of Security Policy Orchestration solutions, today announces Tufin Orchestration Suite™ R15-4, the newest version of its award-winning Security Policy Orchestration solution.  In release R15-4, Tufin continues to increase visibility in cloud platforms, providing customers with more control over enterprise security and connectivity across heterogeneous environments. Tufin's R15-4 offers deeper insight into security and connectivity in Amazon Web Services (AWS), adds support for multi-tenant environments with overlapping IP networks, and provides zero-touch automation for Stonesoft Next Generation Firewall (now rebranded as Forcepoint from Raytheon).

Cloud security and connectivity, with richer visibility into AWS

R15-4 continues to extend the reach of the Tufin Orchestration Suite into leading cloud platforms. Customers who are deploying AWS together with the Tufin Orchestration Suite can now:

  • Regain control over cloud security via change monitoring for resources and their security allocation
  • Analyze and troubleshoot connectivity across VPCs, perimeter gateways and data centers with the interactive topology map
  • Obtain real-time auditability for instances and their properties via the new Tufin Cloud Console

“With the growing adoption of cloud platforms, today’s cyber security challenges are primarily focused on visibility and control - you can’t protect what you can’t see. IT Security teams are often unaware of cloud workloads, especially those created by users directly, making protection impossible. To address this challenge we developed an innovative framework that enables advanced security controls across physical networks and hybrid cloud environments,” says Ofer Or, Vice President of Products at Tufin. “Tufin Orchestration Suite R15-4 extends visibility and control to the workload level. This helps our customers monitor dynamic deployments and changes in cloud platforms, assuring they don’t compromise the organization’s security posture or increase its attack surface.”

Network security policy orchestration across overlapping IP networks

Tufin Orchestration Suite benefits are now available for enterprises and service providers running a multi-tenant network with overlapping IPs. R15-4 fully supports security policy orchestration across overlapping IP networks, allowing greater agility with security and continuous compliance for large, complex environments.

Zero-touch network change automation for Stonesoft Next Generation Firewall

With R15-4 Tufin is first to market with automated provisioning for Stonesoft Next Generation Firewall, rebranded Forcepoint post acquisition by Raytheon|Websense. Customers using Stonesoft  together with the Tufin Orchestration Suite can benefit from end-to-end automation and maximized agility for connectivity changes that span across multi-vendor, multi-platform network.
