As a Technical Support Engineer at Tufin you will: 

·      Analyse, diagnose, debug, and troubleshoot to full resolution complex issues customers are experiencing while using our products 

·      Provide technical support by taking ownership of cases and effectively drive the issue to a timely resolution, both offline or via online sessions with customers 

·      Manage individual ticket queue and associated SLAs  

·      Act as the liaison between Tufin R&D, Tufin Professional Services, or Tufin Sales, and the customer if necessary 

·      Assist customers with the implementation and integration of Tufin products within customers’ infrastructure 

·      Document troubleshooting procedures leading to resolutions to maintain an effective internal knowledge base

Requirements

Required Skills should include: 

·      3+ years implementation/operations experience of Linux servers, virtualization and/or 3+ years implementation/operations experience of network/security systems 

·      Previous customer/end user facing experience in a technical capacity 

·      Understanding of networks, protocols and internet technologies (Routing, NAT, Advanced TCP/IP, Syslog, NTP, SNMP, etc.) 

·      Experience in firewall administration/configuration is a plus. Vendors include Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco (including ACI), Juniper, Fortinet, F5, etc. 

·      Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication, critical thinking & analytical skills 

·      Strong English language and grammatical skills 

·      Loyal, reliable, devoted & conscientious 

·      Highly responsible and accountable 

 

Desired Skills may include: 

·      Authentication technologies (LDAP, TACACS, RADIUS, with SAML) 

·      Cloud technologies including AWS and Azure 

·      Scripting languages (BASH, Python, Perl, etc) 

·      Database languages PostgreSQL and MongoDB 

·      Docker and Kubernetes 

·      Heartbeat/Linux HA 

·      Strong proficiency with X.509 certificates and SSL/TLS usage and troubleshooting 

·      Proficiency in software/protocol analysis and debugging tools (strace, tcpdump, etc.)
