Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts were once seen as hopeful initiatives to improve corporate responsibility. Today, they play a tangible role in how companies operate, from the way office space is designed to how emissions are measured and progress is reported.
We track our ESG progress through audited emissions data, documented improvements, and independent assessments to make sure we meet the initiative’s yearly requirements.
Our Numbers Are In
In 2024, we achieved a verified reduction in carbon intensity, coming in better than our target for the year. This result was confirmed through an independent assessment conducted by Orbis Advisory.
This outcome reinforces the effectiveness of our year-over-year process for tracking emissions, adapting operations, and aligning to science-based climate targets.
We’ve taken deliberate steps, like reducing office space and improving energy use visibility, to keep performance on track as we scale.
Key Highlights from 2024
- Achieved a carbon intensity of 6.14 per $1 million in Annual Contract Value, below our 2024 target.
- Reduced energy footprint in our Boston offices by increasing efficiency.
- Achieved our targets while expanding our reporting scope to include the recently acquired AKIPS office in Australia.
- Maintained a regular cadence of third-party audits and ESG reporting to ensure transparency.
Where We’re Headed
Looking ahead, we are progressing toward our 2027 goal: a 72% reduction in emissions intensity from our 2022 baseline. Further declines will come from a variety of initiatives from energy efficient programs to carbon footprint eliminations.
Tufin’s Chief Financial Officer, Scott Tucker, states “Tufin is playing its part in making ESG a focus and ensuring environmental sustainability. We have not only taken proactive measures to reduce our carbon footprint, but also socialized the importance of ESG throughout the organization and to external parties.”
By embedding these targets in our operational planning, we are keeping ESG aligned with both business performance and environmental responsibility.
