Real-time Firewall Policy Monitoring
SecureTrack continuously monitors Firewall policies, detecting and reporting configuration changes. With Real-Time Monitoring, you receive detailed notifications on changes as soon as they are made. As a Firewall Operations Manager or Security Officer, this gives you unprecedented abilities to manage and audit policy changes, analyzing the effects of changes on your network.

Each Firewall policy change activates a number of automatic activities in SecureTrack. These actions do not require intervention and do not affect your production network in any way.
How it works:
- SecureTrack constantly monitors every policy change including saved policy and installed policy
- Each Firewall policy change is stored in the SecureTrack database in XML format
- Configuration changes are automatically analyzed by SecureTrack
- SecureTrack sends reports detailing changes, who made them and which Firewalls were affected
- Reports are sent to the relevant IT staff members, with levels of detail adjusted to each recipient
- Each change is automatically checked for compliance with your corporate policy through SecureTrack Corporate Policy Compliance
Incremental Change Tracking
Each Firewall configuration change can be critical. SecureTrack monitors every stage of Firewall policy development separately, noting which administrator made each incremental change.
SecureTrack monitors both Save Policy and Install Policy events. The system maintains a complete and accurate account of each incremental configuration change and can attribute each Save Policy or Install Policy action to the Firewall Administrator who performed it. This is especially important when multiple Firewall administrators make changes in the same policy.
Secure Track also monitors Global Policy changes made at the Provider-1 MDS level (in version NGX and higher). This enables an unprecedented level of configuration management and auditing of global changes made by Provider-1 SuperUsers at the MDS level.
Integration with Change Management Systems
SecureTrack Change Management Integration enables easy and intuitive access to the details of each Change Request/Ticket ID from SecureTrack's graphic comparison or change reports. You can use this ability to compare the implemented changes vs. the planned changes and identify whether each change was performed exactly as planned.
