The Secret Sauce.

With much of the world’s attention focused on the Rio Olympic Games and the tremendous athletic accomplishments of the world’s premier athletes, I was reflecting on our own performance at Tufin as we announced our results for the first half of the year today. It’s been a little over a decade since Reuven Harrison and I co-founded Tufin and I couldn’t be prouder of the accomplishments that we’ve achieved as a company. But just like athletes, we are not resting on our laurels, but rather continuing to push ourselves to get better every day.

Some of the highlights from our first half include:

• More than 65% growth year-over-year between our first half 2016 results and those over the same period in 2015;
• 120 new customers added;
• Two successful product releases focused on automation and cloud;
• The appointment of new sales leadership in EMEA and APAC, and a new CMO for the company;
• The introduction of a new channel program; and
• The approval of our 12^th patent – this one for the technology behind our SecureApp product.

It always excites me to meet with Tufin customers and hear first-hand how our network security policy management solutions are benefitting them, as they manage to secure increasingly complex networks and applications. Our advances in automation and orchestration consistently produce significant cost savings for customers as they replace mostly manual processes. And while our customers are always the best source of feedback on the importance of our solutions to the market, it was rewarding to see that Gartner recently recognized this high level of importance in their most recent hype cycle for Infrastructure Protection.

Our accomplishments to date wouldn’t have been possible without the efforts of the entire Tufin team. Sometimes people ask me: what is the Tufin “secret sauce”? Well, the true “secret sauce” is that we have great people! I’m so proud of everyone on the Tufin team – the individual and collective knowledge, dedication and, most importantly, teamwork – are what makes us successful, and make Tufin a great place to work.

So at this time when the world is focused on the gathering of our best athletes to challenge themselves to achieve milestones that have never before been met, it’s fun to reflect back on the successes that we’ve achieved to date as a company. But also like the athlete constantly striving to better their personal best, we look to future accomplishments now.
