  The SecureTrack from Tufin takes an appliance-based approach to managing and configuring firewalls and network infrastructure, including routers, switches, load balancers and web proxies... Once the devices are added to the system, we found there was no limit to the information and configurations that could be viewed. Through the interface we were able to compare and analyze configurations, as well as quickly audit and produce reports with a few clicks of the mouse. Once we defined a policy, the system can look for and alert on policy violations which then can be quickly remediated with little effort.

  Tufin has traditionally focused on firewall configuration, auditing and management, but with this latest version of its SecureTrack software, it now pushes this expertise into network device management as well. This new feature only currently supports Cisco routers and switches, but considering these products hold sway over the majority of business networks, it looks an excellent place for Tufin to start its expansion plans.
