Tufin recognized in the "Network Project of the Year"
category for its customer implementation at Virgin Media

solutions, has been nominated as a finalist in the 2011 Network
Computing Awards for their work with Virgin Media under the
"Network Project of the Year" category.
Presented annually, the Network Computing Awards have been set
up to recognise the hardware, software and services - and the
companies behind them, which have most impressed the readers of the
UK's longest established computer networking publication. These
readers are responsible for buying, specifying and using networking
solutions at organisations throughout the UK.
Tufin, together with Nebulas, a leading UK network security
reseller, worked with Virgin Media to enhance organisational
network security and reduce potential downtime by automating the
security team's day-to-day tasks through a powerful firewall
operations management solution. The project was a huge success for
Virgin Media, who were able to improve firewall performance by 15%
and slash management time and costs by 30%.
This project with Virgin Media is all too familiar to so many
companies faced with decade-old network security infrastructure and
rule bases that are too large to run or maintain - all having a
negative effect on both performance and security.
